How To: The Ultimate Veggie Salad Recipe

This salad is full of delicious vegetables that can be found at most grocery stores. If possible, a local farmer's market is an even better option to source your ingredients. Farmer's markets usually have cheaper prices and offer higher quality produce compared to a grocery store.

I came up with recipe while shopping at the local farmers market when I was very hungry.
The Ultimate Veggie Salad
Section 1: The Ingredients
These ingredients are the base for the salad. Be sure to subtract the ones you do not like and add other veggies that may not be listed!
1 Large Bag of Fresh Spinach
2 Large Cucumbers
4 Large Bell Peppers (Any Color)
1 Tub of Cherry Tomatoes
2 Heads of Broccoli
Optional:
Ranch Dressing
Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette
Shredded Cheese
Croutons
Section 2: Directions
Grab a couple large bowls, a large cutting board, and a sharp knife. Place a few hand fulls of the fresh spinach at the bottom of your bowls.
Slice the florets off of the top of your heads of broccoli and add them on top of the fresh spinach. Slice your cucumber long ways down the middle, then slice them into several half circle pieces and add on to the bowl.
Next, cut the top and bottom off of your bell peppers and remove the seed bulb in the middle. Slice the bell peppers into thin strips and add them to the bowls.
Rinse your cherry tomatoes and distribute all of them evenly among the bowls.
Finally (optional), add some ranch dressing, sun dried tomato vinaigrette, shredded cheese, and croutons to the salad.
Enjoy eating the healthy and nutrient dense meal you have prepared! Store some of the undressed salad in the fridge for later in necessary.
